Dearly beloved in the Lord

Rejection, though painful, is often a powerful catalyst for growth. When a door closes, it’s easy to see it as failure—but it’s just as often a redirection. Every “no” offers us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconsider what we truly want, and how we might pursue it differently. Instead of dwelling in defeat, rejection challenges us to improve, innovate, and build something greater than we originally imagined.

Many successful people credit their failures and rejections as the turning points in their lives. J.K. Rowling’s manuscript for ‘Harry Potter’ was rejected multiple times before becoming a global phenomenon. Steve Jobs was ousted from ‘Apple’ before returning to lead its greatest innovations. These moments of rejection didn’t end their journeys—they redefined them. Rejection teaches resilience and reminds us that success isn’t always about getting things right the first time, but about learning, adapting, and rising stronger.

But the greatest thing we need to know is that there is a God who will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Yes, Jesus is one who will never reject us. When we face rejection He is our “run to” person. Our help when all else fails. The one who can help you build something greater than before. Don’t let rejection break you. Use it as an opportunity to let Jesus build you – and, something newer and greater through you.
